Back when i used to them alot, which was 3-4 months ago, I'd probably be able to do 100-120. My fastest was 94 in one minute.

Now, I'd say i could do 75-80ish, although i've been on the weights quite alot recently

I'll give it a go next time im at boxing

Wow, I just realized that I haven't done pushups in about a year.

The most legit ones I've done while counting is roughly 60. Usually I bench press a lot of repetitions of very light weight instead, but I think pushups would probably work out a few other muscles that bench pressing doesn't. Anyway, I am more of a dips kind of guy.

Are you doing them straight straight through, or take a break every 10?

Back in PE in highschool I was doing them straight through and would collapse at around 25. I noticed this other dude doing them and he did like a 2 second pause after every 10. I started to do it that way and it will help you last a great deal longer. Also when you get towards the end near failure, taking a few seconds pause will help you get out a few more.

    record is 124.
I think I would do at least 80 now.
I do sets of 50 when I do them.

It would take you long to build up the numbers. If you do lots of sets to failure.

Dude talking about benching with lower reps and pushups.
Pushups are very good for your shoulders compared to the bench press.
A lot of shoulder problems brought on from bad benching go away with pushups, shrugs, some crazy unrelated ****.
