In all honesty you should fight the fighter and throw combinations to his weaknesses .... im only 5'11 and fight at heavy so most guys i fight are generally taller ... i target the body and use my speed and footwork against the taller guys ... but against a smaller guy it causes me problems it counteracts my footwork and you have to work out fighting inside which is my strength or counter punching which doesnt sit all that well with me .... watch the guys gloves at all time and against good fighters im afraid ten punch combinations do not exist !

I use so many of them, most of which I just make up by myself, however throwing combinations in training opposed to a real fight are two very different things. Every combo I work on hitting the bags I always eperiment with in sparring. Some work better against different styles, like the basic one-two for instance usually works well against most styles, assuming you're experienced enough to time it. Some of the other combiinations I kind of invent for myself are designed with a specific purpose against a specific kind of style.... like when I step off to the left throwing left hook as I do it, following it with another left to the body as my feet set more.... it's very effective against southpaws (that one remninds me of Roy Jones Jr.)

As I said though, practicing it in front of a mirror or a bag is completely different from doing it in a ring with somebody for real.... so I make sure that any combination I practice in training on a consistant basis, I also practice in sparring and then finally in a real fight itself.

It is difficult to land multiple punch combinations. The more punches you throw in a combination, the more opportunities your opponent should have to counter you between your shots. When you want to throw multiple shots, for example to open up one side of your opponent with a view to getting that one final shot off, I like to break the combination down into smaller pieces - several combinations if you will. If you want to throw 10 punches, by all means do so. My problem is when people stand right in front of their opponent and throw those 10 punches - you are a sitting duck - break the combination down, throw a couple of shots, lure the counter, counter the counter, change angle, re engage, throw a couple more etc.

There is a lot to be said for the 'kiss' theory (Keep It Simple, Stupid) in boxing.

    Double jab cross
Double jab cross left hook (or left hook to body)
    Double jab right hook
Left uppercut left hook to the body
    1-2 left hook
    1-2 left hook right cross
jab right uppercut left hook (seldom)
    right hand left hook
    left hook right hand
jab right hook to the body
jab right hook to the body left hook
left hook to the head left hook to the body

Obviously I don't throw all of these in every fight but i'm capable of throwing all these well.

I love this combo ever since I saw a young Barrera stop his opponent with it.

I know what you mean. I don't fight competitively I just like to train now and then. Because I was getting a bit bored throwing the same limited number of combinations I decided to list as many different combinations as I could up to 5 punches. I've only just started listing 3 punch combinations and the list is already ridiculously long. When I have completed listing them all I will try them all out and then just cherry pick the ones that seem to flow the best.

i'm slowing down my form now even more now than in the video, to try and perfect some things, but I'll probably just do the 1-2 or 2-1 for now or double jab, just basic stuff, maybe throw the left hook in there somewhere, I have some defense work, and turning over the wrist properly work, other than that I should be ok by the start of 2010 for my boxing basics, but I'm not rushing anything.

Wizard - you were told months ago to slow your form down, so wy only start slowing down now?

You will not have the basics down by the start of 2010. The only thing that you will have by the start of 2010 is a collection of bad habits. You would be better off doing no boxing training whatsoever, and just focusing on flexibility and fitness until you get to a boxing gym. The bad habits which you already have will take you a long time to get rid of, even with the help of a coach.
