As you know 3G has been in talks to face former SMW champ Chunky with the prospect of facing the elites of that division. Perhaps this is only the beginning of a Roy JOnes-que move up weights into history.

How many divisions will 3G conquer before he retires?

how does Canelo winning prove he was number 1 "all along"? now, yes, but not the whole time. Either way, just 1, MW

Lol unless he moves down to JMW he won't rule JMW. Beating Canelo doesn't do anything for that. I think the most he could do is 2 (160 and 168) but it kind of late for that. Probably just 1.

You do realise Golovkin is 37 and not 27?

c'mon, beaitng the nubmer 1 LMW is proof enough. i guess u r right its not total domination, just as canelo isnt totally dominating as equal number 1 MW.

The money is at 160, with the exception of Groves at 168.

Didn't vote because the "0, because he will beat Canelo, and either retire or continue on in the same division retiring eventually still a Middleweight" option wasn't available.

It doesn't look like "0, because he will beat Canelo, and either retire or continue on in the same division retiring eventually still a Middleweight."

nan if he beats Canelo then he takes lineal and its beyond doubt that he was the dominant force at MW.

Hard to say. If he wins clear then he's got another year or two left for sure. If he looks worse than the first fight and loses, I reckon he'll move up to 168 and give that a go.

Well there's also the fact that Golovkin never fought at 154. If Horn beat Crawford I wouldn't say that Horn dominated 140 or was the best guy there. Even when Golovkin fought Canelo the first time GGG couldn't make 154.
