nobody hated Lennox, but Bruno was loved from the outset for his character, the same as Hatton was even though he wasnt the best fighter in the land. The whole 'hate' thing is made up by jealous americans as there best hw of the past 10 years is a chunky arreola. If he wasnt english why did he have an english promoter and start his pro career in england, he simply missed the olympic boat, nothing more.

But he must've had some sort of link with Barbados then that ment he could acquire Barbados nationality. ie. have a parent born in Barbados before 1966, Marry a person with a Barbados nationality or residency laws, 7 years i believe in Barbados.

A 2nd or 3rd generation Englishman can't just pick up his bags one day an say i'm off to play for one of the commonwealth states.
