Not blown away, but he's definitely one of the best at 168.

I don't think he's ready for Callum. Callum doesn't do anything wrong or have things to capitalize on. Everyone else has one or more flaws that can be exploited at 168. I also think stylistically Uzcat could try to force a war with him. I think Benavidez does more things that would give him the W though.

Overall, Benavidez is the legit 2 seed at the weight IMO.

 

For me I favor plant or smith over him. Not by a lot but if I had to pick a winner.

 

Callum Smith Vs Benavídez is on my wishlist for 2020, I think it's a brilliant match up

I reckon Benavídez Will be the kind of guy that really gets up for the big fights , but wouldn't be surprised to see him suffer one or two upsets in his career by not being focussed

For the best Benavídez ti show through I'd like to see the Smith fight with the winner moving to bigger and better things in light heavy, because outside of these 2 guys super middle has absolutely nothing to offer, weakest division in the sport imo

 

Right now, until proven otherwise Callum Smith is far and away the best @ 168.
