No Just wasn't concentrating on what I was typing, I have corrected it now. I have learnt my lesson please forgive me.
No wonder rigudeaux and vazquez left him. But yea, i get the feeling that apart from Pac, Khan and a couple of others, he's mainly like a consultant, and the other trainers whom he mentors, act as the real trainers for the fighters. Infact wasnt it Khan who said he wanted Roach to train him, not Moorer.
pepper. Look it up & learn. edit Most people apart from the finest posters here wont know what Im getting at, so check out the vid to see who helps Freddie out. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AMisUNj7pk[/ame]
Nope. From what I have gathered he basically is the head of the gym works with the fighters near a fight, supervises sparring, does pads, looks at opponents and does the corner. But there is lots of other trainers in the gym doing conditioning and other sorts of boxing training. I think its almost exactly the same setup as Eddie Futch had
freddy only full on trains about 4/5 fighters its mainly his brother pepper and a few other assistants that help the other kids, plus when manny and khan train they usually close the gym while their training a week or so before the lst training sessions before a fight
If he has multiple fighters fighting on one night at different venues he goes with the bigger name. Alex Arthur had a quick phone call before the ring entrance against Gomez from Roach giving him his instructions which is a shame coz Freddy would never have let him brawl with a brawler and made him outbox michael with his reach. That fight ultimately ended Arthurs career imo
