Whether on offense or defense, Hopkins always had his feet under him, especially later in his career. You almost never saw him off balanced. Who was or are in his class in this department?
ggg, i just wrote a post on another thread about just that point. i think ggg is better at using his balance for leverage while on the move.
Holy as crusier Chavez at lighter weights Floyd at 130 135 Jmm lighter weights James Toney especially at crusier Ricardo Lopez...probably the best I've seen in the balance department.
Some guys had balance with a static stance.. some guys fought off balance.. and some guys just had natural great balance.. that contributed to their overall toughness like David Tua.. But make them move all sorts of angles including linear.. and they'll "fall apart"..
