I agree with a lot of what you say and can go along with most of the rest but Im surprised you seem to justify Joshua/Sprott. To me its a shocker that I expect to get into the 2nd round at best and do nothing for AJs development, plus being possibly a dangerous mismatch. I hope the ref is on the ball.

I have yet to speak to anybody I know who is buying this and some are huge boxing fans.

I get the same response "I'll watch it in a pub"

Do you live in a deprived area? I know lots of people who are buying this as it is a relatively huge crossover fight.

Camaris it's not people you know it's the voices in your head that are telling you this joke of a PPV is value for money , does the Person that looks after you know you are on-line

Tancred I think you need to stop being so negative about things. If you can't afford it or are so angry about a whole night of competitive championship boxing (featuring Bellew, Cleverly, Groves, Degale, potentially Kimbo Slice...) .... if you are genuinely that upset and outraged.... then just don't buy it.

In the meantime sensible people out there are very aware that a whole evenings entertainment is just the click of a button away - all for the same price as, say, a large Pepperoni Passion and soft drink combination from Dominoes Pizza.

    Bargain? I'd say...

Boxing has been using 'pay to watch' models for TV for decades as either PPV or before that Closed Circuit. That is the way boxing works, if you have been fan for any length of time you will know this, and if you look at the business model of the sport, accept it, even through sometimes gritted teeth...

Haha, I've never seen such shameless promoting from a supposedly 'random' poster in my life!

While you are one of the best posters on here I do think you are posting the obvious here , my reason for NOY BUYING THIS PPV EVENT is that yes I have to accept it is being promoted and sold as a PPV card .it is let's be honest here not really up to PPV standard and the main event isn't really PPV is it and although a fan for many years of our sport I will not blindly hand money over for a substandard product . Acceptance is one thing but blind acceptance is for fools

Quite possibly. I think we are having a sweepstake for what round the Joshua fight will finish. There are 3 of us going, so round 1, round 2 and round 3 should cover all eventualities. Lol
