If people are willing to pay, you've got to be ready to take their money. What is it about that statement you idiot kids cannot understand?
Not really hardcore when you're stealing from the very people who are hardcore in setting up such events, not to mention taking from the very people you want to see. The price is irrelevant. Yes it's expensive, but then it's not a mickey mouse under-card either is it? Streams are an prime example of abhorrent plagiarism that is all too prevalent on the internet at the detriment to everyone. I hear people say "I can't afford it" well guess what Eric, I can't afford Bellew's Gucci Coat, so I guess I steal it instead shall I? Morals.
Why do u care whether other pay or not? Buying ppv does not make u a hardcore fan or a real fan and neither does not buying it. Only u know if your a fan not others on here who make requirements to judge fans
I won't be buying it. Have bought more a less every PPV card over the years, but this is the straw for me. As others have said, it's not the money, it's the principle. I find it all a bit shortsighted tbh. There was a real chance to piggyback the hype from the Froch v Groves fight and continue to grow the sport. This just seems to be cashing in on the current goodwill. Very shortsighted. The fact that they've continued to shove more names on to the card strikes me as a bit of a desperate move. If he was seriously thinking of putting Audley on there, I think that proves to everyone that they're getting worried and needed another "name" to try and sell it.
So the hardcore fans who are meant to be hardcore boxing fans? wont part with £15 even though there is at least 3 good fights hardcore my arse
I say 'long may it continue' that promoters rush to put as many top names as they can on a single bill. Have you considered the alternative?
You mean free boxing on terrestrial TV? Like in the good old days of benn eubank and big fight live on ITV? Sounds great.
Its the precedent. If you pay £17 for this and a wank card full of poor sparring sessions, then it wont be long before you are paying to watch Paul the Plumber vs Barry the Butcher. The fact is we pay tv license and sky sports subscription and now they want to charge us for a poor card. I don't mind paying PPV but only when it doesn't feel like a total **** take, this is.
