Sean Connell spent some time fighting in the tents. Connell wasn't a world beater. But he did log wins against Les Piper, Tim Bell and Jonny Walker.

I know Sean & his honest approach to the tent was it was a lot harder to fight anybody that came out of the crowd that no one knew **** all about. And he was more than just a good fighter.................very understimated. I know Ty was ragggin' on the tent fight scheme some time ago so another good mate of mine.....Blair Cowboy Wilson was only to accepting to fight him...............I'll say this Ty your no fool & footage wise you go well but you would never beat Blair................I remember down Toowoomba few years back fella named Jamie Guy who was the current 175lb champ Oz champ fought Blair............lost a close decision ovr 3 rds..........disputed it............came the next night with all the hanger ongerers....even brought the Oz belt along............Blair stoppped him on the 2nd.............there you go....

I've read Cowboy Wilson retired undefeated in the tent. As if Ty could have ended his 500 fight winning streak
