Exactly - and with Hernandez it's almost the opposite. He doesn't have the name of a Gatti but boxing insiders know him to be one of the best scalps claimed by both DLH and Mayweather (unlike Gatti, who is for both considered just icing or a nice high-profile payday and showcase).
In reality, his best opponents were Castillo, Coralles and an over the hill Oscar. That speaks for itself.

Does a fighter even need to be great to be inducted, though? I'm talking about actual practice, not "in a perfect world". Very good + well known seems to be standard credentialing procedure.
