Loma isn't really a defensive style mover who fights off the back foot, he's an ambush fighter. His speed and defense would still make it competitive but Marquez does a lot of the things that worked for Lopez - jabbing, lead body shots, and big counter rights. He also comes forward at a similar pace. Loma would be wary of the body shots, jump in to try and land shots at a side angle; he'd have success and win rounds that way, but would start paying for the side-steps by eating left hooks downstairs and eventually harder counters upstairs.

A fighter like Derrick Gainer clearly isn't as skilled as Lomachenko, but he had a speed and height advantage against Marquez, along with a Southpaw stance and a mobile defensive style. This fight, like Loma-Lopez, shows how an athletic mover can be neutralized by a fighter threatening to counter while controlling the center of the ring.
