How many heavyweight titlists can you name who didn't fail in at least one of these categories?

    This.

The first Fury fight was a draw so he doesn't have any controversial wins.

    - Never had a controversial points win

Wilder didn't get a controversial points win.

Good pick. Pre-recognition WBO makes it controversial though.

MD/SD wins are disputed/controversial wins for the purpose of this exercise. Briedis easily could have had a draw and Joshua could have easily been given a KD in round 5 of the rematch, if we're going to be revisionistic about it.

I think Jeffries was a significant favourite against Johnson.

I guess it depends on where you draw that line. According to BoxRec.

    • Jeffries opened as a 10-7 favorite. Odds climbed as high as 2½-1 for Jeffries.

Revisionistic? You are one funny poster. Why don't you just tell us the right answer if you're gonna move the goalposts ? Last time I check in on one of your brain dead threads

I didn't move the goalposts, you just didn't understand the criteria. You won't be missed.

Oh no, going back and saying "for the purposes of this conversation, SD/MD is controversial" is revisionist as hell and is absolutely moving the goalposts when the reality is , the controversy of the AJ SD was the fact that AJ had gotten the win on one card.

This is a very convoluted thread to talk crap about boxers. I always have to ask myself if some of these posters/ forum members actually like boxing. They seem to want to negativly criticise boxers on every post they make. Why follow the sport if that's what your about.

Fury was an underdog when he beat Wilder in their rematch.

Awfully specific criteria. I wonder when he's going to reveal how it's Deontay Wilder and why he's so special...
