The way Jimmy fought 'Wake up everybody' might have been on the playlist.

That version of events only happens in Wlad's dreams, during the state of unconsciousness he reaches, shortly after the bell sounds for the 2nd round.

Yeah Holmes was one of the greatest heavies of all time. I rate him the second best of my lifetime.

"Giving up,giving in-a is a good one mate!

Really, you need to list each and every one of the Foremans as separate guys on an ATG top 10 list.

Jamaica Foreman was particularly impressive since he was a 0-0-0 novice who KO'd the world champ in his first fight.

He manhandled bigger fighters and better boxers. He would stop George in the 10th.

He never once fought an opponent of Foreman's caliber and was stopped by three unranked men.

By "manhandled" you must be referring to his classless treatment of opponents as though they were the top bunk.

It's nothing short of a miracle if he makes it into round-3.

Is this the Foreman that was driven into the ground by Slappy Young?

He might make a decent sparring partner for Waldo.

We're talking about the Foreman who abused Joe Frazier and Ken Norton and not the George Foreman who had his spirit broke by Muhamnad Ali and went to war with Ron Lyle.

I dont think it would matter much. Foreman went on to fight more and to great success after Ali. He wouldn't do the same after Wlad.

I see you've accelerated the timetable on your frog-boiling project.

Of course - Young - seemingly the best version of Foreman his detractors can perceive - every time! It's uncanny.

At least Young was top-5 rated.

Where were Puritty, Sanders and Brewster in the ratings when they paneled Wlad?

Sure, Foreman went on to achieve success, Post-Ali, but how many of his subsequent performance/s unquestionably surpass those he put on against Norton and Frazier?

More to the point, how many performances did Wlad put on to match anything Foreman did?

The answer to both questions is: None!

OK, you want to pull a sample of Foreman's output from one night and I want to pull a samples of Wlad's output from a decade, but you need to go outside those lopsided limits to prove a point?

Who has won this argument? It's pretty obvious.

Wlad couldn’t beat George’s carcass, much less Caracas George.

At his retirement Wlad had ruled the heavyweight division for 8% of it's MdQ existence, barely losing a round during this stretch. Total dominance the like we shall never see again. Prime Foreman would be but a footnote in that long, distinguished run.
