Never bothered to count, S, but must be thousands since the 1940s.

I was HOOKED:lol: from the moment i got home in 89 & i watched a prog on Vegas at xmas & heard the noise/tunes & clatter of all the machines & the general hubub, the hair's on my arm stood up:Dthe *******s:lol:

I was a Duran nut disciple & had never been to the states before, you did'nt really need that much to get there back then & as long as you avoided any serious gambling you could have a great time CHEAP as all the casino's then were all individuly owned & comped drinks & all yer could eat buffets, steak/Lobster for $5.00 ect, all to get you in, but thats all changed now what with the MGM having a monopoly.

I was sucking in massive $$$$$$$$ back then by helping myself to all that free credit the banks used to post to me by the way of plastic seeing that they thought i was an upstanding property developer going places:lol:

But if you can, then you've got to give it a shot at being at a top world title fight & there's no place like vegas, it's an education in itself for us brits & one for the better. I've always tried to get the best seats that the banks credit cards would allow me. You only live once after all:deal I've dug out most of the tickets stubs i've kept.

Vegas ai'nt cheap anymore, well not as it used to be, every square inch is $$$$ costed & squeezed, but you've just got to take out of the town what you want & don't ****in gamble, unless thats what you want, I hang off strip & downtown & get glagged up on the cheap with the natives.

A Corona in the MGM Zuri bar or seahose/Caesars for example will cost yer $7/$9 a pop, **** cocktails start at $12. Checkout lasvegas.com for loads on info about buying yer nightclub open bar wristbands for $100 ect & use all the Casino coupon codes to get better room rates.

I've left a fortune in Vegas as i used to take the missis like a dumb **** that i was, i stopped all that after 97 when she just sat bitching all day in our VIP Cabana at treasure Island, **** that, NO MORE EVER!!! I go on my own & meet up maybe with some fellow brits & just do my own thing, so much to do there & see, it's ****in great & my $$$$$ are my own:D

But i'd always try & afford the best ticket available & up in the nose bleeds it's a ******* climbing up & up & up when yer've got 20 pints of Tecate swilling around & yer vision is blurred, nearer the better & it's an expereance that will stay with you for the rest of yer life.

Just look over the course of a year & count up how much you've frittered away $$$$ wise!!!! Focus on a fight date & find a way!! There's always a way amigo:D
