I was just fortunate to have been around at the right time when all these great fighters were still around & when it was alot cheaper, i would'nt know where to start as regards as what goes on in that mad house of a town especially when Tyson was fighting, yep happy days. It's a shame Caesars Palace no longer put on fights as thats always been a class venue & anyone & everyone is in the locality from thursday onwards, rubberneck paradise I'am off the the fridge for a cold Corona, thats why i drink the stuff as anytime i here the word Vegas it's time to stick 6 down me neck as a warm-up
How tough was it for you back in the day with regards to getting tickets for those megafights at the garden?
Nice reading through this thread, have a lot of guys who go to the good fights (Duranimal! lol) I think its a must every once an awhile to go to a fight, to feel that atmosphere, and to absorb that experience, but if im to be honest i have to say that i like watching them in the living room on a nice big tv, with friends all about yelling, BBQ and drinks, ect.... its like a superbowl every big fight. Thats the way i prefer it. Though yes every once an awhile its a must to go see one live. If i ever have money i plan on a couple fights a year live..... as for the fights ive been to live, sadly not many at all lol... Vargas vs Mayorga Vargas vs Joval Castillo vs Lujan But they were very cool (the vargas/mayorga fight was awsome with the arena screaming, getting to be close to the fighters when they made their entrences, ect, was just great)
You've got to be selfish & think of only ME! ME! ME! + it helps that my wife don't give a flying **** anymore about what i get upto Once yer discuss Vegas with yer missis then yer well & truly ****ED as she'll want to come & **** it all up for yer:yep Just book it & take the flak later:hey
