Black people have long arms in general I notice, well not all but a lot do.
Its a good boxingadvantage from the start.

Vernon was really good RIP. But he gets massively overrated on here. If you got inside on Forrest, and smothered him he was completely ineffective. Forrest was great when he could keep you on the end of the jab, however once you get inside his punches are so wide and alot of the time he was off balance.

Forrest is not as fast as Floyd or fluid as Floyd on the outside, and Floyd completely eclipses him on the inside. Floyd UD.

Great point, and it isn't like floyd lacks the head movement or the jab to get on the inside. Also if we've seen anything, most fighters that try to use their jab against floyd, eat the straight right counter all night

Edit: I assume you meant overrated btw?

You act like its impossible for him to lose:yep just vote none then and save the floyd is god speech.
I have seen most of winky and about 9/10 fights from forrest, I feel he could keep him at bay with the jab + big right whily applying pressure.
Floyds accuracy might win him rounds I just feel forrest wins more.
Not really that impossible right? from the others I dont favour anyone directly but an upset can happen to anyone on a bad night hence 5/6.

Forrest was not compact nor technically sound. He had the athletic tools to be an ATG, he didnt have the discipline in the ring. Look at how sloppy his punching is against Mayorga. If he would have boxed soundly he would have eventually blown Mayorga out of the ring like Oscar and Tito did. But he started slugging as Forrest tended to do often no matter who he fought.

Prime Forest, Winky, Oscar. I think he might have a couple losses there.

I voted Winky. He is the only one who has all the tools it takes to beat Floyd. Size, power, jab, reach, speed, strength, and technical compactness.

Forrest and Oscar were good, but they were flawed. Forrest was not sharp and crisp in the ring and couldnt fight on the inside. Oscar was inconsistent from round to round, tended to get discouraged in the ring and tire late in fights.

Dont even mention Cotto or Cheato of having a chance.

Winky would beat floyd twice in a row.

Forrest Im not sure about, I would have to watch him again.

DLH at 147 is a challenging fight but PBF comes out on top. DLH is too tense and fades in the late rounds, PBF will figure out a way to outland him and PBF is strong in the late rounds.

PBF beats Pac comfortably and makes it look easy. Beats Cotto easy. Mayorga would be a really fun fight to watch, mayorga has got size and a good chin. PBF would land on him easily but Mayorga can take a lot, it would be entertaining.

I agree. It would be hilarious watched Mayorga swing for the fences against Floyd while Floyd cant really do anything to hurt Mayorga.

Keep a tight fundamentally sound defense and Mayorga is not going to hit you. Not if you're elite. Thats where Forrest was clearly flawed. Showed the same flaws in the Quartey fight.

Floyd cant hurt Mayorga. And Mayorga cant hit Floyd. More then likely you'd see Floyd making Mayorga looking incredible foolish for 12 rounds.

He'd lose to Winky at 154 and win a rematch

Every name in Floyd's resume pales in comparison to the level these guys were at...even when some get criminally underrated by blinded fanboys.

Are you guys honestly trying to compare the Vernon Forrest against Ike Quartey with the Vernon Forrest whom fought against Mosley the first time? LOL

Winky, younger Hoya, Forrest, Pac.....all these are 50/50 fights for me, to a lesser extent pre-Margo Cotto. If Floyd would've swept all these guys I'd rank him top 10 ATG easy.

I think Vernon Forrest poses the biggest problems to Floyd and Mayorga might give him fits for the first 5 rounds if they fought.
