Vernon Forrest would have stopped Floyd hard.

I think 2 losses to Winky,
2 to Forrest or he'd split the two fights 1-1,
maybe the 2nd fight with Oscar (Floyd beats De La Hoya from first Mosley fight if Oscar fought him the same way).
    And possibly Pac and/or Cotto.
3-4 losses, giving him the benefit that he'd win most of the 50-50 ones

Forrest & The version's of ODLH Mosley fought would have given Mayweather more than enough.

Forest wouldve been a VERY VERY difficult fight for Floyd. Winky wouldve been hard, but Forest even harder. Forest jab, before his left shoulder got messed up was special. It was quick, accurate, and hard... and he had tremendous POWER in his right. While I dont think he wouldve caught floyd much with the right, if not at all, Forest had a great uppercut, which was probably more damaging than his right hand and he had good power to the body... and being so tall... i dont think Floyd couldve beat him. Floyd could possibly beat Winky... only because one could outwork winky, and him hitting floyd as often wouldnt happen.

Even Uncle Roger said his nephew would have the most trouble with Forest...I dont think Mayweather would stand much of a chance against him. At some point Mayweather wanted to fight Winky and actually approached him for a fight. Winky turned him down though, Mayweather wasnt the star he is now, but still he would call out Oscar and winky a lot. I guess he saw something in winky that he could beat.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Oscar who fought Trinidad was in my eyes his best performance. I'd be a good fight.

Winky is the only one that would be able to beat Floyd, that would be a 50/50, at 154 winky is the favorite. PAC...please, Forrest would be a good fight but Floyd wins this fight on the inside, he's just better than DLH.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

He had his hands full with the old Oscar he did fight.

Oscar from either of the Mosley bouts would have stopped him.

Interesting thread. He may pick up a few, but my sure pick would be a prime Oscar.

not sure what the point of your post is here.

forrest at all times still worked behind the jab. VF was picking mayorga apart. However, mayorga had supreme conditioning and a hard punch. Forrest got tired in round 3, after gassing out in round 2, and mayorga was able to counter when vernon forrest opened up.

how does translate into a fight with floyd? I don't know but i think a fight with floyd would be totally different. because vernon forrest hits HARD. MAYORGA has a freak chin. he took a flush hook from TITO with his hands down.

overrall, i think floyd would have a lot of difficult as a naturally defensive fighter to dominate vernon. mayorga had a freak chin and had to suffer a lot to do that to vernon.

I think he could beat the lot of them but Forrest and Winky are the tough ones, Oscar he beats twice

You could argue this way and that all night about how Floyd would've done against Oscar, Forrest, and Pacquiao, but one thing I know for certain:

if Floyd had fought Winky twice at 154, Floyd would've got his ass beat twice. :deal
