Really depends on you and what you are doing he rest of the week hers no straight forward answer but for me I train 3 days a week and run the other 3 this will be 2 days here I run 3 to 4 miles fast OR track sprints and one day usually at end if week where u do 8-10 miles and a good pace. This is just what I enjoy myself everyone is different and there is a lot of people who say amateur boxers have no place running long distances as it is not comparable to their type of fight but I enjoy it so I do it , whatever you do I wouldnt jog unless it's is for fat burning purposes always RUN and get your lungs working that's when you will notice a difference in sparring etc

I would think in "rounds you can spar" rather than "miles you can run".

Your not training for a track meet. Running is just another conditioning OPTION.

Because baby we were born to run!

I'd say at least 50 miles a week if you hope to get anywhere, maybe even 60.

I was asked by a fighter in london, how to get fit for the gym. I told Him to run 5 miles a day easy. 3 weeks later I had a phone call, Him telling me He had done what I said, and asked to be picked up, as He was in Birmingham. :rofl.

This thread looks like it could run and run..

  12. Only ever run half as far as you can before turning for home. Otherwise you won't make it back.

If you're not sure what your half-way point is....run with a bus ticket in your hand.
