How many more fights until Seth Mitchell gets a title shot?

  1. I agree. Mayhem is coming and it's very angry! People gave up on Seth because he was hit once by Witherspoon. People forgot that after Seth was rocked,he proceeded to **** Witherspoon. I think he will beat Welliver and he will fight for a world title in 2013. He will be champion.

Vlad has mentioned fight Mitchell or Arreola after Thompson, but he plans to fight both ASAP! Vlad will knock Mitchell out, so would Vitali..................

At this point in time, Mitchell needs a lot of seasoning. He's yet to even see the 10th round of a fight.
Based off the Witherspoon fight, he's got a way to go yet. He was caught in too square a stance which led to him getting hit with right hands...his camp seriously need to get him defensively much more sound.

He did make slight adjustments during the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but it was almost like he had to remind himself to do so, rather than it coming naturally. He needs to learn to do things out of instinct.

Having had no amateur experience, Mitchell is learning on the job. It's not an ideal situation since he's not a spring chicken. He sort of needs to be pushed along quickly, but at the same time he has a lot to learn.

I say don't rush him. Too many good young fighters have been pushed into a title shot without being adequately prepared, and again based off the fights I've seen (three in total) he's just nowhere near ready for either Klitschko.

Wlad would destroy him right now. Vitali would break him down more slowly, but administer a prolonged beating.
Don't rush the guy. I think too much is expected of him, and it's not really fair on him.

He's got potential, and I do think he will wear a strap at some point, but talk of a title shot against a Klitschko is silly at this point.

His camp need to find him some rugged old pro's that will take him into deep waters without seriously hurting him. I need to see him in the 8th, 9th, 10th round of a fight. The Witherspoon fight was a good learning curve (Which raised some red flags but also showed Mitchell's heart and determination) and he needs to test himself against a better caliber of fighter than what he's been beating up on so far.

Given time, he will be a champ, but don't rush him.

It showed the best and worst of him, I feel.

Defensively lacking, but he has loads of heart and grit. He did very well to come back after being rocked by Witherspoon, and to finish off a guy in round three after nearly being decked himself in the first was a good accomplishment.

The Klits will come knocking soon. He is an undefeated American and they have beaten everybody else so makes business sense.

Just depends if Seth has the sense to turn it down until he has some experience under his belt

Too much risk for Mitchell and Golden boy, Mitchell will be protected until they can cash in on a Klitschko payday.

What is Povetkin accomplishing fighting the likes of Huck and Rahman?
I'm not trying to discredit those opponents but it's not as if the light will suddenly switch on and Povetkin will say -

"I have learned everything I need to know to beat the champ!"

Mitchell should have a few more bouts, but eventually you need to go for broke. Povetkin is not going to get any better then he is right now, he's only going to get OLDER!

  11. Either brother? Of course! Because Seth is not ready yet. He only had 2 step ups so far! When he is better in a year,Wlad is going to have a harder time.

    Probably 2...

Wlad does Thompson II, & Arreola (guaranteed successful title defenses).

Mitchell does Welliver & Old Mike Grant.

Then Wlad defends against Mitchell in Vegas.

This guy couldn't even beat Arreola. He should fight Thompson or Stiverne next

Stiverne would be a great development fight for Mitchell to take, after the Chauncy fight.

So some say they beat up on older fighters who have no chance, and others say they like to pluck the green boxers from the teet, and then ruin them for life thereafter. . .

Klitschkos are open to fight ANYBODY, ANYTIME. . . They would fight Mitchell this year, or in two years. . . Whenever he wants it, he can get it. . . Same with Povetkin. . . Helenius, Fury, Wach, Boystov. .

WHOEVER WANT IT> . CAN GET IT!
