That would only be a factor if it went to purse bids, fact is Hrgovic isn't a draw any draw like Parker could of dominated negotiations told him to accept 10-20% or he walks away and he would either get what he wants because Hrgovic has no leverage or he says he isn't accepting the smaller split in a purse bid and everyone would agree with that because there's no way Hrgovic deserves that and Parker moves on and Hrgovic is again left fighting some journeymen while he keeps looking for an opponent for his eliminator.

But Parker didn't even try to negotiate a deal, he just walked away. Maybe he has a reason but we are yet to hear it.

How is he low reward? He is the definition of high reward, if you beat him you get a title shot. If you believe you can beat him, he is the most logical opponent to fight.

The most likely scenario - He's better than someone of you give him credit for and therefore that's why people are scared to take it. They obviously see him as a big threat and don't want to take the risk.

Edit - Also what do you mean no one has ducked him? The IBF are offering you a title shot if you beat him, but you chose to say "lol I'm injured" instead to get out of it?

Hunter, Ortiz and Now parker, all mysteriously having injuries or just flat out refusing to fight him.

Considering the facts, the OP most definitely IS hero worshipping. Remind me, who is the highest ranked fighter that Hrgovic has faced so far?

Hrygovic has faced only TWO opponents ranked within the TOP 100 fighters at heavyweight. TWO.... and somehow this is enough to get a title shot before anyone else? For the love of God, Hrygovic has not even earned the right to face someone like CHISORA never mind Usyk or Fury, both of whom are the real champions and both of whom I am sure only want to face other top fighters. Why would either Usyk or Fury even look in the direction of Hrygovic? What has he done?

Is anyone seriously suggesting that only 2 fighters within the top 100 at heavyweight were or are willing to fight Hrgovic?

He is not even "high risk, low reward" to the top fighters, because he has done absolutely NOTHING to even warrant a fight with anyone in the top 10, let alone the top 20 or even the top 30. The only "high risk" Hyrgovic presents at this moment in time is Usyk/Fury having to justify why they are facing opposition that is completely unproven, untested, ranked outside the top 30.... Yeah, that itself would be tougher than the actual fight...

When you have only faced 2 fighters ranked in the top 100, and those rankings are 74th and 79th, you have not earned the right to fight for a championship belt. Let's first wait to see if he can even crack the top 30 first.

If either Usyk or Fury faced off against Hyrgovic right now, it would be considered the worst of cherry picks in history and be derided for eternity. It would also be considered ducking the rightful challengers to the throne, of which there are many.

He signed with a broke ass promoter like Wasserman, NOBODY is ducking him, they're offering like 500k for the fight lol and they wanted Luis Ortiz like 3 months after the Martin fight and Ortiz obviously said no bc he was injured in some way. Hunter offered to fight him on Triller but Filip said no.

No it isn't his fault. People are being offered a mandatory shot at the title to fight him, but they're choosing not to because he's high risk.

Hunter ducked Hrgovic, not the other way around.

If any of these boxers were serious fighters, they'd agree to fight, but they're obviously just concerned about money.

They are ducking him because of threat he poses. If he was really a donkey, someone would have fought him by now and taken that mandatory shot.

Keep deluding yourself. They're ducks, pure and simple. I get they're concerned about money and risk vs reward, but if they were really confident in their abilities, they'd fight Hrgovic and claim their shot which will provide them plenty of cash.

They're obviously not confident they can beat him.

IBF is the most honest of them all. They have followed their own rules correctly.

Hrgovic will get his shot, the bigger issue is that the belts are tangled up with Usyk-Fury-Joshua.
