He beat Ruiz in the rematch. Everything else was a gift.

He did ****. Valuev was a crap fighter who had a good promoter behind him. Thats all he had. A good promoter.
I mean this guy was a big ass heavyweight who was afraid to get in a dog fight with smaller fighters. Just look at his fight against Holyfield. Terrible...
After he got schooled against Chagaev he was lucky to get another fight against Ruiz to get his paper belt.

Holyfield beat him, no doubt about it, that was a robbery.

Haye beat him, although it certainly was much closer than the above. Neither engaged each other very much, but Haye deserved the nod.

The other two I don't have a strong recollection of, off the top of my head, so I didn't vote.

  9. Holyfield got robbed bigtime.

I was so pissed off. Holyfield should have been able to retire on that victory as WBA champ. :-(

    Holyfield would NOT have retired.

Yes, I know he has claimed that's why he has continued fighting, but Holyfield ALWAYS comes up with some kind of justification to keep fighting. Had he won the title, he'd keep boxing anyway, coming up with another reason for why. This is a man who has had an uncountable amount of "retirements," they never last. This does nothing to change the fact he should have won that belt, but I'm just pointing out that it would not have caused him to retire.

Holyfield has continued fighting because he is absolutely ****ed financially. He owes all kinds of money to the IRS, has a ridiculous amount of children to support, and has generally been atrocious with his financial management. Boxing is his only source of any significant income, and he has tons of bills that he has to cover, of which he will never come close to satisfying. Sad part is that he already clearly has brain damage, and has for a long time, it has just gotten progressively worse. He slurs his words, talks very slow, and will sadly retire a destitute, penniless man, it's a tragic story.

Almost everybody at ringside had Valuev winning over Holyfield.

    SNV won the Ruiz rematch

So do you honestly think Valuev beat Holyfield? :think

There were entire rounds were Valuev didn't have any real connects, Holyfield although he put on a mediocre performance himself, clearly got the best of it.

LOL at how Valuev looks so freakin' enormous compared to all of his opponents in those pictures. Like the damn Cyclops debating whether or not to eat one of Odysseus' men. Or the giant from Jack & The Beanstalk. FEE FIE FOE FUM.

I have no real need to rewatch the fight (I don't want to get into a coma)

    But you may be right.
