They're on a similar level right now, in that if they were to fight it'd be an even and competitive matchup. But the question was who had the better future in the division, and Breazeale in addition to being closer to his prime, has more of those assets that could take him further. On the flip side of that, he's also more likely to struggle with guys that Washington wouldn't have such a problem with due to his terrible defence, sub-par speed and lack of general polish.

I'd like to see Miller in with him next. I don't think he'd do significantly better at all.

This thread does not even need to be answered as everyone knows that Wilder fights only winos from the alley. WBC is protecting him, will never allow Wilder to fight a good fighter, never.................Wilder has had diarrhea of the mouth for too long, but when it comes time to step it up he makes excuses. Haymon will never allow the WBC to make a real mandatory fight for Wilder. Five voluntary title defenses in a row. Wilder, the biggest fraud in boxing history!

It's obvious why neither AJ nor Fury are getting the same level of criticism as Wilder. First, their reigns aren't half as long as Wilder's (in Fury's case nonexistent, plus he's retired). Second, they both beat Wlad. That excuses a lot of things.

In lieu of a comparable big win it becomes germane to take a look at Wilder's defences since winning the title. He's the longest running of the major belt holders and he has the most defences. Wlad was often criticised for lacking that signature big win, but a case could be made that his defences were actually quite respectable upon deeper investigation. Can the same case be made for Wilder? Doesn't look like it so far.

Whether the purpose of the thread was to put down Wilder I can't say since I didn't create it, but regardless of the intention it's still a perfectly valid question and one which I've tried to answer as objectively as I can. Maybe you would like to do something of the same kind? Then a meaningful debate between us can be had.

A few years younger Version of the journeyman Chisora would school those 4, maybe except Miller.

If the criteria is as the thread states -- trajectory/momentum of title defenses -- Wilder is far ahead of Fury (zero defenses) and even with AJ -- Wlad is a guy who hasn't won a fight since 2015 and on his way out of the game, Molina is a wash as both defended against him, Breazeale picked up a decent win after losing to AJ (just as Duhaupas and Molina did after Wilder).

Duhaupus destroyed everyone's golden hero, Helenius. Molina destroyed Adamek before getting destroyed in a title shot by Joshua.

That's the only positives that can be said about these 5 guys combined after their fights with Wilder. And there is likely to be nothing to add to it.

    Serious question, though...

Is Bermane Stiverne ever going to fight again???
