Can't do it anymore though. It's been too long. Just run and lift to stay in shape. Sometimes I'll shadow box and hit the bags.

The username came from watching ESPN Classic. Their 'Best of Tyson' show was on and I was looking to join a boxing forum. Couldn't think of a username until I heard one of the announcers say something about Tyson growing up in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY. Decided to go with it since I couldn't come up with anything else.

If I had a chance to re-do it, I'd use my initials.

i boxed in my younger years (40 now), and as i posted on another forum i was actually slated to spar with jimmy thunder in australia way back when.

that would have been my claim to fame if it had happened, and it would have made a better story if it had.

 

Always wondered about that. Don't even think about changing it now, brother.
