How many of you are hoping Jones ruins Calzaghe's party?

I like both of these guys but would love to see the old Roy come out for a final hoorah.

 

It will be a great fight like both fighters but going for JC because I believe he'll be the fresher man.

 

Jones knows BHop would knock him out and that is why we will not see a rematch.

No, I know Roy has a Glass Jaw and I saw what BHop did to Tarver who knocked Roy out cold and beat him easily in the 3rd fight.

Roy saw this also and knows what would happen to him.

 

You do know that BHOP priced himself out of a rematch right? Roy the pound for pound king at the time and a win over BHOP offered him a 60/40 split which BHOP stupidly turned down.

Also, you think Jones is scared of BHOP after his last performance? He looked like ****....

 

I would love to see RJJ beat Calzaghe one last blaze of glory for Jones.
JC thinks he can pick Jones as an easy option to pad his record. I think JC has made a mistake. Bhop made JC look bad and I think Jones will do the same.

Not really. I like Roy but if Calzaghe loses to this version of Roy then Calzaghes' legacy will be severely tarnished. Even though some choose to quite overrate Calzaghe, I don't want to see his legacy tarnished like that.

 

roy is just a name, he only beat tito who looked fat and had been out for yrs since his schooling by winky. c'mon i think joe should fight pavlik. at least he will provide better competition and a realistic threat. dont get me wrong, i think the roy of the 90's would beat joe, i believe he was mr unstoppable.

Would be begging for it but won't happen. Joe made sure Roy won't show any signs of his prime not even for a second, otherwise this fight won't be on.

 

I'm rooting for Roy, he's my fav boxer past or present... however Calzaghe will beat him convincingly. Roy's only hope is to land enough power shots to surprise JC and get the ref to step in and stop the fight... dont see that happening somehow
