im a big calzaghe fan and ive just remembered an interview he once had. they were talking to him about ricky hatton and his fights in the US. to which he replied its just a shame that there arent any manny pacs, miguel cotto's or floyd mayweathers in his division so he has to deal with the best thats put in front of him.

well in reality he's of the same generation as roy jones, he could have gone up in weight to fight tarver, johnson, roy at 168, demolished sven ottke! just pay him millions to go to UK or somewhere neutral just to beat the **** outta him and rid him of his 0! so considering his age i still feel that either due to joe or warren he never fought the best, all those yrs he was fighting unherald fighters and no big names, there were some out there. its just a shame that now they are all old and he wants a piece of them now in the US.

some will say its them who want a piece of him now hes unbeaten etc. but i feel this aint the case as B-hop had just beat tarver and winky. and the fact joe B-hop wasnt ppv in US shows he aint yet the big draw over there. this is why i feel, if he must for his own sake face jones, hang around for 1 last fight against a young, primed linear champion who is a yank and who will seal and cement your legacy. kelly pavlik. please joe jus do it. roy aint the mr unstoppable superman of the 90's hell that was a decade ago! prince abadi and tony hanshaw and an old tito who looked overweight do not mean that he's bk to his old self#!

the difference between a jones and hopkins compared to a calzaghe is that jones and hopkins ruled the world stage and in the limelight during their reign.

because calzaghe (and warren) consciously chose to keep their fingers out of the 'bigger pciture' and milk defences at home, they effectively negated any chance of making truly big fights - and they knew this.

I honestly don't think Jones will allow Calzaghe to slap him to a 12 round decision. The only way Calzaghe can win is by a stoppage, but that definately wont happen.

I think Roy is back to a shadow of his former self, which is still enough to whoop Calzaghe

I would love to see roy beat calzones ass, especialy since hopkins was robbed. now this guy is a fraud, he beat some top ranked guys at his weight but so has samuel peters. chris eubank was old when slappy fought him and he only won a descion

RJJ is my idol, I grew up watching that guy just pound everyone who faced him, his fight were more like exhibitions. If I were a betting man I would bet on a Calzaghe UD, but I am indeed hoping Roy not only pulls it off but knocks him out. I respect Calzaghe but I do not mind seeing him lose his 0 in this fight.

I want to see Jones win as far as being my favorite fighter ever. But wouldn't be mad if Joe wins. But I hope this fight comes to Vegas WHICH IS MY HOME TOWN. So I can buy tickets

This is fight I wouldn't enjoy seeing either fighter lose. I would like to see a bit of the old RJJ magic though.

I'd like to see that. I don't really give a crap about Calzaghe one way or the other, but I'd like to see him lose to old man Jones just to see the incredible disappointment in Joe's fans. They need to get humbled. :yep
