I know Bradley is right favoured in the bookies, but I think Vargas is a live dog. While he doesn't always look great doing it, he always seem to get the job done an has beat some good fighters in his last few fights. Bradley is proven but seems to be on the way down rather than on the way up an I think Vargas might catching him at the right time, Tim has been round a while an has been Insome tough fights. an I feel looks on the slide. Tough ask for Jesse but I give a good chance tonight
Its a big fight imo, i think vargas has to fight fire with fire tonite to pull it off.... i cant wait bbq in 3 hrs:hi:
I give him a much, much better shot than the average person seems to. I feel Vargas is slightly underrated and Bradley's recent WW form is understated.
Yea Vargas can get into these lapses, inconsistent, but when he's on his game, he can bring it. Neither fighter looks great doing anything, but they have tons of heart. Omotoso was shellacking Vargas and looked like the African version of Floyd, but Vargas, many forget, was trained by the Mayweather's themselves and has a tendency to make fights go his way, no matter how sloppy they may get. Right when he looks like he's going to get beat, he comebacks. In the Demarco fight, he had an early lead, but let Demarco get back in the fight. Vargas knows he needs his best tonight, because even then it might not be enough. Btw, Bradley is still in his prime, that draw with Chavez was bs.
It could be close but Bradley will nick it. Vargas may even win. Chavez made Bradley look average I thought
Bradley loses this fight then he is dropping down away from his firm #3 spot in the division leaving it up for grabs.
He might win if he gets a few rounds in an absurd robbery yes, Bradley by 9 rounds to 3 is my guess. He seems well motivated but has very few options still in that stable if he gets past this, which he ought to. Rios will fight Brook but will probably lose so not that. Crawford maybe. Provodnikov 2. What is there to get excited about there in reality? There's barely any interesting matches or opponents to look forward to in his prime
I think Tim dominates Vargas.....overwhelms him and takes him into deep waters for the first time at this level. I could be wrong but this is a very tall order for a young fighter to be faced with. I think Jessie will give a good account of himself but end up showing the delta between where he is and where Tim is at this stage of their careers.
