No, i didnt expect it to be a classic but hoped i was wrong about that. Hoped Manny would cause Floyd real problems but didnt expect him to and if Manny couldnt force Mayweather to fight back then it was only ever really guna turn out a bit the way it did. I did predict Floyd was guna stop Manny but that looked less likely as Manny didnt throw anywhere near the amounts i thought he would.
Not at all. I expected it to be somewhat better and closer as it turned out to be though. But he way it went was more or less as I expected.
From the moment this fight was announced I felt it was con job, in the sense that both fighters are at the twilight of their careers, and the fight was not going to be for the fans but for the fighters. Now, many of you will say, hey, they deserved to cash in, and that is fine, but let's face it this was never a superfight, as billed. I had no interest in watching it and didn't. The outcome was as expected. Nothing about it was surprising. Frankly, I am tired of so many great fighters having to take a back seat to The Mouth Floyd. The guy is just wrong for boxing. He is an incredibly boring fighter, where you are trying to decide who won a round because so little was done. The other guy tries to hit him but Floyd is elusive, and a lot of so-called experts of the Sweet Science swoon. Not my cup of tea and can't wait when Floyd is out of the picture.
I knew it was going to be a ****ty fight. Mayeather fights are never worth the price tag. People just pay to watch in the event he loses, not because of the excitement he brings. That's a real ****ty compliment in itself if you think about it- people shouldn't pay at all, but they willingly shell out their hard earned cash to line his pockets so he keeps churning out the same performance.
I didn't really expect anything. I was completely unsure of what would happen. I thought Floyd would probably win, but could envision a scenario where Pac wins. In the end the "more probable" thing happened. To me, I was simply amazed that Floyd actually had the guts to fight Pacquiao. After ducking someone for so long I think we were all amazed that the fight even happened as crazy as it was...
Not for one split second, everyone knew he was going to dominate Pac. Pac has never been in his class, ever.
