How many of you have taken blood tests and urine tests?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by LukeO, Dec 25, 2009.

  1. I've had both. It didn't bother me, but understand how it bothers others.

A friend of mine cannot **** if anyone's in the same room. Bit of a problem when we're down the pub. Big problem when taking a drug test and someone's watching you.

Another friend passes out when he sees blood, let alone getting blood drawn.

Like I say, doesn't bother me one bit, but appreciate other people's issues.

  2. Yeah but if you offer those same men 40 million dollars for taking those same tests, most would be as excited as Tiger Woods in Scandinavia.

Right, but he is willing to do it, he just doesn't want to do it in the days leading up.
Why would he intentionally bend over for Floyd?
You see him making any unreasonable demands on PBF?
    I don't.

if pac had history of Steriod then yes tha mayweathers have the right to change the rules and demand stricter rules

but manny has been cleared time and time and all these bull**** is just a result of mayweather camp's baseless accusation and they're all bullying manny around

manny is not refusing blood test, he is refusing mayweather's camp's demands. who the ****k do they think they are?

i hope manny will really take them to court, fight someone else, train and be tested and not give mayweather his biggest payday

Because they thought it wasn't going to be in the days leading up to and the day of the fight?
Have you read any of the stories on this subject? Or are you just assuming pacquiao is pretending to be scared of needles so he doesn't get caught roiding?
    Come on.

exactly! why o why would he bend for floyd!

*****s keep feedng this **** that manny does not want to be tested. manny is okay with the blood test, but not with the way mayweather dictates it. manny is not mayweather's biatch!

floyd needs this fight more than manny so why would he be bullied by the challenger?

Well then, the fight should get made, and they can all be happy.
I'm not going to try to convince Pacquiao to give up blood anytime he wants to. I am just suspicious of why Mayweather is choosing who will do the testing, and why pacquiao gets no say in how it's done and by who.
Seems weird that Floyd has 1 group he is willing to accept, maybe he has a friend or 2.

  14. You don't think 10 million dollars for every pound over the welterweight limit is unreasonable? Let's face it, ped use is rampant in pro sports. Boxing should adhere to the most thorough testing that exists as it is much more dangerous than most other sports. Manny Ramirez isnt trying to render another man unconscious. Have you seen Macho Camacho's interviews? Have u heard Meldrick Taylor speak? Boxing is a very dangerous sport. This type of testing should become the norm. Manny Pacquiao can make that happen. He has the power to make boxing look good. The whole world is and will be watching.

    **** no it's not unreasonable.
If you can't make weight, move up a division.
It should be his entire purse for being over the limit.
That is cheating. He cheated against Marquez and it showed.
