How many of you like Andre Dirrell??

I'd pick him to beat Ward.

 

Ward will beat Dirrell's ass.

Mother ****er is just a convention belt fighter.....ordinary, just has fast hands and quick feet.

But he lacks power, lacks style, and isn't Roy Jones, so his speed will only get him so far.

Ward is CLEARLY the better fighter.

 

How is Dirrell better than Ward?

The guy has no plan B and Ward's fundamentals are vastly superior. Ward is by far the better fighter, and you'll find that out in time.

The only thing that Ward seems to be lacking is power. But ****, just look at the level of oppositon.

Who has Dirrell fought?

Ward just fought Miranda. Dirrell fought.......Oganov? Be real...****in Oganov?

That mother ****er is just a strong man with no boxing skills.

 

I like him, outside of the Stevens fight. I think taking on one or two rated contenders would do him a world of good to season him before he gets a title shot. Fighting guys who have nothing to offer him isn't going make the leap from contender to champion any easier for him.

As for a matchup vs Ward, I'd take Ward right now. More proven against better comp, and he's taking the steps to move his career forward right now. Dirrell looks great, but he's faced nothing but guys he should look great against.

Bute is a better boxer than Dirrell.

Dirrell is very conventional, but has fast hands and feet. He hasn't beat anybody either.

And he ran from Stepenson or whoever that mother ****er that nobody ever heard of was, and didn't even look impressive against that 5'9'' plodder he fought recently, (again a guy who nobody knows who the **** is) with his hands up defense.

You need to pick some better fighters to ride on. ****.....why don't you just go with Mayweather. He's the easy choice.

Dirrell should fight Bika. That'd make it alot easier to gauge his current class, and would make a title shot a logical step afterward should he win.
