i certainly do. one of the most exciting fighters ever and one of the biggest featherweight punchers of all time.i think its a shame he isnt in the hall of fame he shouldve been inducted in the same year as Bobby Chacon.
Little Red. If people thought Benn was dangerous when you had him hurt, they've never seen this guy. A good if basic technician, but what a puncher. I'd like to have seen him vs someone like Morales.
orale Geronimo! that's Danny "Lil Red" Lopez. that guy was a straight up killer. he would get dropped like Tito, lose a couple of rounds, and out of no where, he would end the fight with one punch in the form of a right hand. i highly recommend his fight with a malvera/malvares. he didn't have the speed or explosiveness of a pacquiao, but was just as exciting and if he connected it was lights out. his right hand easily equals if not surpasses the power of erik morales or manny pacquiao, he was just alittle easier to hit, but that was his style and he was a great champion. i would of loved to see him vs. Wilfredo Gomez, but if never happened. i have it 50-50 on who would win that one
Lopez was a fighter / stalker looking to KO his opponets.... That was also his downfall, too... Had Danny been more defensive minded, he might've saved himself from taking too many punches in order to land his own shots.... However, yes, D.L. was a warrior.... Very good for TV ratings.... Lopez was only 28 when he was TKO'd twice by Sal Sanchez, but in reality, Lopez never had the skills to beat a Sanchez in the ring.... Lopez was cool... MR.BILL
