Yeah he creeps in at number 10 for me. I understand that's very rare, just my opinion.

Maybe personal preference on certain things he's achieved which others don't account for so much

I wonder what a pure bareknuckle list would look like.

    Maybe something like:
    1. Tom King
    2. Jem Mace
    3. Jem Belcher
    4. John Jackson
    5. Daniel Mendoza
    6. Tom Molyneux
    7. Tom Cribb
    8. John C. Heenan
    9. Jack Broughton
    10. Tom Hyer

    Johnson
    Dempsey
    Louis
    Jersey Joe.
I have a soft spot for Jersey. I'm convinced in his prime ,with every thing going for him ,he'd be s nightmare for nearly all pre 60 s heavy s .

I'd consider Lennox, and Holyfield as very deserving. Wlad and Tyson probably too.

My top ten changes depending on my mood and how heavily I want to weigh “greatness.” But at the absolute most Louis, Liston, and Marciano for me, to go along with:

    Ali
    Holmes
    Lewis
    Tyson
    Wlad
    Foreman
    Holyfield
