How many other heavyweights in history could have stopped M.Spinks in a round when he reached 31?

Yes, well noticed, he took a bit of time with Tubbs also, who I think outscore Mike a little in their first uneventful round during their bout.

Liston would have KO'd him in 1. If he didn't want to be in the ring with Mike, he sure the hell not going to want to be in there with Sonny

Spinks didn't really want to be there that night against Tyson, just looking for final payday like Holmes did when he fought Tyson. Spinks in his prime would have lasted longer maybe even frustrate Tyson for a bit before being stopped but on that night he would have been stopped early by Liston, Lewis, Louis, Foreman, I'd say even Dempsey, Patterson and Marciano would have dispatched that version of Spinks with ease.

Just because somebody else intimidated him, it doesn't mean that they are going to repeat the trick.

He should still have been able to manage some sort of effective defense!

There are only 3-4 heavyweights other than Tyson IMO that had the foot speed, skill and power and quickness to catch the mobile Spinks in the first rd Dempsey(Speed and Power), Patterson (Speed), Clay pre 67 (Speed)and possibly Foreman (Power)....Tyson was like a heavier just as quick if not quicker more powerful Dempsey

Lesser fighters than Spinks lasted longer than 91 seconds against all of the above.

Your opinion about Spinks is far away from the objectivity.
Old Holmes was 35 and 36 years old. What about Joshua who was down by a 41 years old fighter ?
Or the 45 years old Foreman who destroyed the prime Moorer. A 35-36 years old fighter isn't old by
    the historical boxing standard.

Tangstad wasn't so good but Douglas couldn't beat him.

Cooney's inactivity proves nothing just a speculation. Cooney in his time was a dangerous puncher.
Larry Holmes: Gerry Cooney was a 'helluva fighter'.

You hate Tyson hysterically and this is the reason why you ignore the objectivity !

Holmes looked a lot heavier against Spinks than he did in his prime.

To be fair to Spinks, the Tyson that he fought might well have able to beat any heavyweight in history on that night. Not saying definitely would have but definitely possible. Probably not as easy as he beat Spinks though.
