Im not reading through the thread because I'm sure its nothing but whining but Mosley was p4p #3, Corrales #5 and Marquez #2 on the P4P list when Floyd fought them.

It was clear as day that Mosley was old in that fight imo, thats not floyds fault but he was.

He was only ranked as one of the best in the world because he beat an overrated Margacheato without the bricks in his gloves anyway.

Martinez is active and we know he's not shot, we didn't know Mosley was shot at the time it was signed, but we did by the 5th round! He looked old as hell in there. We also certainly do know he's shot after seeing him in every fight since then. He struggled to draw with Mora ffs.

Feel free to disagree with me anyway, its a good win for Floyd, but that Mosley shouldn't have been anywhere near p4p anyway.

Floyd was dropped from the p4p list after a year of inactivity was he not? Is this a general rule or something they just inacted for Floyd? I think its fair to drop p4p staus after a year inactivity anyway since we have no idea how that inactivity will affect a fighter until they get back in the ring.

i'm talking about Mosley not floyd. He also hadn't fought for 18 months remember.

Why drop Floyd after a year but not Mosley is why I'm asking if its a general rule they follow or something they just inacted for Floyd? I don't know the answer to this.

I'm also talking about Floyds long layoff 2010 - 2011 where the ring dropped him p4p, not his retirement.

Because he was signed on for Berto so it's not like his inactivity was self imposed.
