How many people here just enjoy watching a good fight ?

I sat back a enjoyed the fight. I like both kahn and Maidana so I pretty much wanted to see them put on a good show.

 

I just love boxing, don't really care who is fighting. I enjoy fights more if I know the guys fighting (not personally, but know who they are), and enjoy them more if they are fighters I've enjoyed watching in the past. There's a good quantity of guys on ESB, take IB for example, who watch whenever, wherever, and however they can all the fights on TV.

I do tend to pick a guy each fight I want to win though, but I do this with all sports. It's more fun when you emotionally invest something into one of the fighters, even if it's not much.

I don't root for just one fighter, one country, one ethnicity.. none of that ****.

I'm more of a fan of the underdog brawler type, so if we're talking about Khan Vs. Maidana, I was routing for Marcos to finish him off in the 10th... Woulda been a great win for him especially getting off the canvas in the 1st. I honestly thought it was all over when Chino was writhing around in pain....

 

You said it. It's boxing, it happens(bad performances). It ain't the end of the world or their careers(unless it is).

I thoroughly enjoy watching a good fight without wanting to see the downfall of 1 fighter or the other. I often root for a certain fighter, but hardly ever root against 1 or the other.

I enjoyed the hell out of that fight. Was drunk just saying how great the fight is. The other recent fight that had me feeling like that was JML-Rafa.

 

If you're a boxing fan, it helps to able to take a Boxer's personality out of the equation, just put it aside and enjoy the fight. That's easier said than done though. I tend to be able to manage it most of the time, like Khan and Maidana. Don't particularly like or dislike either of them and thus enjoyed what both of them were doing in there.

I want Floyd to get KTFO every time he steps in a ring though. :thumbsup

I enjoyed the one sided beating pac did to margarito and gave margarito props for making it exciting.

Khan-Maidana was good too. Maidana was outclass but kept coming which made it exciting.

 

I liked JMM-Katsidis more but this one is the second best fight these year.

I also have seen my favorites get KO'd or brutally beaten
I've seen fighters I dislike win big fights that i rooted against

but thats like any sport when my team loses in the playoffs or to a division rival
