I think I now understand why so many on this board seem to believe Andre Dirrell faked the KO last Saturday night.

Here's my hunch. Tell me if I'm on to something.

Does it have something to do with Jesse Owens' dominating track performance at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, where he won 4 gold medals in front of a not-exactly-adoring crowd that included a visibly pissed-off Adolf Hitler?

Is it possible that many people are still bent out of shape about that and have been bottling up a good deal of shame and anger and were hoping for some good old-fashioned Teutonic revenge last Saturday?

It's a theory. I just wanted to float it and see if anyone thinks I might be on to something.
