So shouldn't he agree to the blood tests?

I've come to believe that either people from his country love him so much that they don't care, or this new generation of fans only care for bloodshed and action packed fights. I believe it's a combination of both, I mean we have people here saying everyone should be able to use PEDS before fights to make it more entertaining. I'm like are you serious? Do you not realize people are putting their lives on the line when they fight? Who in their right mind wants to fight someone they know or believe is on PEDS? Only fans who've never had anything to do with a contact sport and don't know what the effects can be on someone facing another on PEDS.

What difference does it make what the testing protocols are, who influences them, what they consist of, or how they are conducted...unless you aren't clean. If you want to try and make the case that the methods employed by the USADA hinder athletic performance that's your deal, but the science and the things being accomplished by athletes all over the world say different. I don't believe a fighter or a person for that matter, who has been through and overcome the things he has doesn't have the mental toughness to overcome a perception that he would somehow be "weaker".

I know this is kind of off topic, but it is still along the same line. Does anyone suspect Lebron James, Dwight Howard, and Dwyane Wade are using some type of EPO, steroid, etc...? I would be interested in hearing from Pac fans and Mayweather fans.

Man what are you talking about, where did I ask you to prove anything to me? Are you referring to the quote where he says "I'll do what ever, I don't need to PBF to make my career..."? You posted that in response to someone else dip****. That being said, do you really believe that I'm not aware of that quote? You realize that is old right...I'm well aware of what he's said, I'm aware of what his team has said, I pay attention to what's happening. I don't try to "sound intelligent", dude I am intelligent. You convientantly don't acknowledge the posts where I've stated that I believe that PBF could use PED's as well...the bottom line is that until one is tested and tested consistantly, there is no way to say definitively, period.

:huh Let me break this down for you man...All the blood tests will do is show high blood count (not sure if it's HGB or HCT, or both). At that time they will then do urine tests to find out if EPO was used to achieve this elevated blood count. So to answer your question, NO. He does not need blood tests to get caught with EPO, urine is all that is needed.

But Pac has agreed to blood test, up to 7-days of the fight, which should catch any drugs that urine may not catch (not sure what PED's would not show up in urine, if there are any). And as far as my knowledge goes, any drugs that show up in your blood system, will be in your system for at least a couple of days. Which would prevent Pac from using PED's within two days of the fight (since they will be testing him after the fight). So what now, that leaves Pac 5 days of doping up? That doesn't sound very realistic to me.

Of course, I'm no expert in these things. I have a basic understanding of meds in general and I'm using that for this analysis. If you guys can prove me wrong, so be it. But right now this is how I see things.

Rashard Lewis of the Magic was suspended last year for doping, I don't discount anyone who feeds their family by their athletic output. Why would they not get every edge they could, why would they not do all they can to get their piece of the pie, I mean I can't with a clear mind blame these guys, because they are simply doing their best to take care of themselves and their families. I don't know that many people on this board, myself included, wouldn't do the same thing IF given the opportunity and IF you knew you wouldn't be caught/tested/and their were no reprocussions. There is no one that I would consider beyond reproach, anyone who is clean should have no problem taking drug tests, and doing what they can to ensure their sport is clean, and that these assumptions aren't being made about them...unless you are in some way benefiting from this phenomenon. It's a pretty simple idea to me, I don't see why we have to get into all the gray areas and all the petty stuff, the bottom line is that a clean man/woman should have no problems with drug testing, and as a matter of fact common sense would tell you that they should advocate for it because if they allow cheaters into their league/sport, the cheaters will take their job and negatively impact their livlihood...who doesn't benefit from the most sophisticated drug testing available other than the cheats and the dealers?

You keep on talking about drug testing on why there is no fight yet. The real reason why there is no fight yet is because Floyd is on "vacation"! He doesn't have the urge to fight. Yes, Floyd said that himself so you have to accept that as fact.

  11. Reppin' watched Martinez-Williams and wasn't concerned that there was no OSDT.

Reppin' will watch Marquez-Katsidis and the thought of OSDT won't enter his mind.

Reppin' will watch Berto-Hernandez and the thought of OSDT won't enter his mind.

Reppin' will watch Froch-Abraham and the thought of OSDT won't enter his mind.

Reppin' will watch 50 more boxing matches in his life and OSDT won't enter his mind. Well, except when Pacquiao fights.

See the pattern? His (and Floyd's) bull**** ONLY APPLIES TO Pacquiao. Reppin's nothing more than a xenophobic *******.

Reppin', quit watching boxing or shut the **** up because OSDT is NOT HAPPENING in any upcoming fights.

I didn't say he needed blood tests to get caught, just that they are needed, or at least the experts are recommending them in conjunction with urine. So basically you're agreeing that they should use both, but urine is what actually detects the EPO? If so I agree 100%, I just don't buy the fact that they only need urine because that's what actually detects it. If blood wasn't necessary or helpful in the detection process, I doubt they'd mention it. :good

I honestly don't think Pac would EPO or HGH up in 7 days, doubt it'd be that helpful during the last week of training/preparing. I also don't believe he'll be tested within the last week because he's being tested by experts whom know the effects taking blood can have on someone in his profession that close to the fight. I believe Floyd sticking to the random no cutoff is about principle, dude said it's either this or nothing after Shane and he did it. However people want to spin it, if he said this or no fight, anything Pac offers or does that isn't this is basically saying he doesn't want to fight. It's simple logic, and we can (and usually on this board do) go back and forth forever on compromising or whatever. The fact remains the same though, after he and Shane went through random no cutoff he said it's this or nothing. Until that's agreed to I don't see a fight happening......

i dont think manny is on anything at the same time i think he just take the test random.as far as him moving up in weight i think he has been beating guys that are drained from the catch weights.the fighters are so bigger and they get payed that they prolly think they are going to bully manny and stop him.but manny has a little man complex so he will fight and he is coming as fits as can be while the other guys have to make some kind of weight and the rehydrate to what ever they rehydrate to.manny is a super athlete like mayweather or a prime jones jr.
