He won it and clearly. 115-112 on my personal scorecard. Judges were on crack that night.

It wasnt a horrible robbery, it was a close fight, but it was a draw at best, and I really feel that Collazo won the fight. I hope a rematch is made

I had Collazo up by a round, 2 points when you count the ridiculous point deduction. There were rounds that were close enough that I could see the 114-113 scorecard if the judges liked the outside power work that Berto did better than the inside shoe-shines to the body from Collazo. Bob Papa said that he had it 114-113 for Berto himself.

The 116-111 card is absolutely ridiculous when you account for the deducted point. That would mean that he had Berto ahead 9 rounds to 3.... I cannot visualize that. 7-5? Yeah, I can see someone arguing two rounds over from my card, since a few of them were pretty close.

I'm torn between the description, "Robbed" and "broken off in his ass."

Just about everyone feels Collazo won by 1 to 3 rounds. It was somewhat close, but it was still a clear victory. This wasn't one of those fights where a good argument could be made for several rounds, every round except for one, MAYBE two if you are very generous was quite clear for either Berto or Collazo.

That the fight was close is beside the point. The point is, it was still a very clear victory for Collazo, or at the very least a draw split decision. That Berto got the U.D. is just pathetic. Its a shame for boxing AGAIN.

He was on the wrong end of a close decision - by a ****hair. While I thought he won I can't sanction the use of the word robbery in this context.
