Leonard Ellerbe and maybe his aunts, but that may be asking too much.

What does this have to do with his ability in the ring and him being the best boxer in the world? You PBF haters kill me the man can't be beaten in the ring and he's beaten all of your favorite fighters so you're reduced to making meaningless threads like this in order to try and tear him down....pathetic.:rofl:lol:

The Van Andel Arena seats about 13,000 I believe, so Floyd could probably do between 5,000 and 10,000.

i dont really see anything here that insinuates anything about his ability in the ring. I think it's a pretty straightforward question.

It's not meaningless. PBF always prattles on about Cotto not having enough fans to justify a matchup with him.

Sure it is. PJ is a known PBF hater and he's trying to go by PBF's last fight in his hometown as a way to say PBF woudldn't draw flies. I beg to differ PBF is a superstar now and if he fought there now he'd easily draw between 10-15K.

The proof is in the pudding. PBF-Zab did more buys than Cotto-Zab did.:deal Couple that with Cotto-Gomez being the lowest rated HBO fight ever and you then see where PBF is coming from. Cotto has regional drawing power and will not sell more than PBF would period.

Now that I think about it, if the arena holds 13,000, Floyd could do over 10,000 right now. I'd probably buy tickets and make the trip across state to see him, even if it was against Forbes.

He might not sell more, but he might kick his ass.

I dont think a superstar would worry about Cotto being a draw...

It takes two to make a megafight, Oscar didn't sell those 2 mil + PPV by himself. PBF was a known commodity and Cotto needs to get his name out there more. I feel that his personality might be a hindurance since he's lacking one. Hopefully the Margo-Cotto fight will be in Vegas and he can get more exposure because of this.

    Like Carlos Baldomir-Floyd?

You mean to tell me Floyd and Cotto wouldn't draw more than that?
