No it wasn't a megafight but he still made a **** load of money and the fight did over 300K in buys. PBF now is a megastar in the sport(post Oscar) he like Oscar are looking for the big paydays like 15 mil or more. If Cotto can't bring atleast that much there will be no fight. I know it sucks but it's probably the truth.

A megastar can sell **** on his own dance floor. Tyson, Oscar, JCC etc etc.

If Floyd is a megastar, He should be able to sell fights with just his name alone...and I THINK he could.

Whether he wants to do that is up to him and at this point, it's costing the fans more than it does him.

I liv 45 mintes away in Kalamazoo MI. I wouldn't go if te ticket was free. Trust me he gets no love around here, people in Grand Rapids don't even know he is from there.

No I haven't but from what I've been told not much goes on there. So this would be big event.

not true, Van Andel gets packed to the brim several times a week. Lots of big name concerts go down, as well as arena league football and hockey. I've been to many boxing matches in the area, and believe me, he gets NO LOVE in the GR boxing community. Not because of how he fights, but who he is.

That's odd considering he had a celebrity weekend event a couple months back there that was well attendend. I'm into party promotions and I know a guy that does parties up in Chicago and he told me it was a good show.
