Everyone knows that if you can't prevent Manny from landing his power punches[His bread and butter] at a high consistent rate for 12 rounds, then you're likely to lose to him. Let's put the "Styles make fights" argument to rest for a minute, and answer this question. Do you think Manny is capable of landing more than 117 power punches on Floyd?

We all know Manny isn't going to land most of his jabs on Floyd, therefore he'd have to be very dependent and desperate to land his power punches at a high consistent rate for 12 rounds to beat Floyd by UD. It's very possible that Manny can beat Floyd by catching him with well timed flush power punches to get a KO victory, but it's very very highly unlikely to happen. [remember we're only talking about power punches here, not total punches] If Manny were manage to throw 30 power punches per round[360], and manage to connect 30% of them[108], would it be enough to earn him a UD victory? If he throw 20 jabs per round[240], and end up connecting 10% of them[24].

    Power punches: 108/360
    Jabs: 24/240
    Total: 132/ 600

I don't think that would be enough unless he'd knock Floyd down in every rounds.

maybe about 1~2 per round, 3 if Floyd's feeling mischievous

Well compubox-wise, anything other than a jab is a "powerpunch". That being said, Pac normally lands 40%+ on power punches usually. JMM II, III, and Mosley are all above 39% connect

The problem with that is, He would have a hard time connecting even 35% of his power punches against Floyd who's 100x times better defensively than those guys.

None of Floyd's last five opponents came close to landing 100+ of their power punches, let alone total punches.

Quite possibly, but then again they had Ortiz landing more than Marquez. Pac's offense IMO should be more effective than Ortiz the battering ram
