It won't do very well in the US at all. I'd say that it does around what Golovkin/Jacobs did if that.
Golovkin was/is much more popular than either of them in the US

    not well

joshua doesnt really have any real pull here

fury has to make a statement vs wilder again if espn gives it the same sort of push. im not sure fury can carry a ppv here on his own

The majority are underestimating the popularity of Fury in the States after his two fights with Wilder.

I'm not convinced how big a draw Fury is yet.

Ticket sales vs Otto Wallin and Tom Schwarz were very poor.

The Wilder win will lift his profile but Fury and Wilder needed each other to attract fans to the fight.

Fighting no name opponents, he will still sell poorly even after the Wilder rematch. But fighting Joshua will be massive. As far as profile building is concerned, this is how it is with all fighters. They generally need each other to build an independent profile for themselves. Fury's personal problems and inactivity unfortunately freezed his name. Wilder was the one that gave him a shot at a return to remind the people that forgot how skilled he really is. Those two fights easily redeemed him especially when the rematch ended in a shocking one-sided stoppage for Fury. The hype is back in full force and now is the perfect time to set up a fight with Joshua possibly next year if this Corona nonsense doesn't go away already.

I'll say it does a million if it's in the US. There's more hype around this one than the Wilder-Fury II i feel. If it's in SA or the UK, 500k-700k

I think Fury may be getting bigger in the states than GGG, his stint in the WWE went well.

500k is my guess. There are factors that can increase the numbers such as PPV price and date of fight. But if it’s your average non holiday weekend with the 100 dollars buy then I’m sticking with something close to 500k buys.

500-600k. That being said, I hope that fight takes place in the U.K. That fight happening anywhere else would be a kick in the face to all U.K. boxing fans who fill 90k seater stadiums to see AJ fight B level fighters. Would be a real test of AJ and Fury’s loyalty to their fans. Most likely go the money route though.

That's assuming that fans are allowed to attend as normal. If not, the fight may as well be in Saudi.

    Disagree.

Wilder-Fury 2 was a bigger fight in the US than what Fury-Joshua would be.

Americans won't be as interested without an American fighter.

I don't really pay attention to wrestling very much, that would be interesting if that is the case. Wrestling fans are generally fanatic and will follow someone's other endeavors from outside of wrestling. If he gets that type of pop, he could indeed end up more popular than Golovkin over here.

That makes sense but hasn`t Fury`s stock gone up in the US after he beat Wilder so convincingly?
