I think it'll do more than last time, about 5 million PPV buys for the rematch, with more promotion this time. Just because people on ESB say they don't wanna see it again, doesn't mean the millions of casuals won't buy it.

Nah it won't do even close to the numbers of last time. Last time tons of casuals bought it who would never buy a fight. I know lots of people who aren't even into boxing that watched it because it was hyped so much and was all over social media. A rematch will outsell any other possible boxing match right now but it won't touch the first one.

Nowhere near what the first one did. Nobody is really buying the excuses from the first fight. If anything, a more hydrated Floyd will be more dominant. What has Pac done that would make it more competitive? Swim in the divine ocean more to heal the butthurt? Is Floyd all of the sudden going to change his fight style to make it more watchable for the general public? NO.

Same fight. Same result. Floyd easily outboxes Pac again.

    Maybe 1.2 mil.

fluid rehydrated with an banned IV. he was't dehydrated fight night and he was juiced to the gills.

Pac had a torn rotator cuff and fluid was on roids. If fluid is off the juice and pac is healthy should be a destruction of fluid.

It may still crack one million. But anything between 600k-900k is more realistic.

Lets not forget their first fight almost ruined boxing

It will do half of what the 1st one did. Most people I know who paid for it regret it. Too expensive for a snoozefest.

The first fight was a fluke, a rematch would be lucky to break the 1.5 mill mark. Fight would lose money big-time if the contracts are based on the revenue the original one generated. As others have mentioned, people are still shitting on the first fight and swearing they would never pay for a rematch.

It would still do big numbers, not as big as the first one.
Mayweather would get a far bigger share though, seeing as he won the first fight.

I expected it to happen this year.

American prices for PPV are ridiculous though.
The first one was $99 right ?
In UK it was less than £20 I think, which was about $30.
