    I will go first = 1.7 million

Reason = Cotto is a bigger name than Ortiz and has boxed on PPV before doing 600k in his last fight with Margarito, while Ortiz was just a HBO fighter so i expect definitely more than the 1.25 mill buys that the Ortiz fight generated. Also the controversy generated from the Ortiz fight has Made Mayweather a bigger household name.

Boxing's biggest name (or at least tied for it) vs. it's #3 biggest PPV draw. Big numbers, I'd go 1.6M

I'm very interested in seeing if this rumored Super Bowl PPV fight spot really airs. If so, it can guarantee helping to blow the roof off with some huge, huge numbers.

    1.5 to 1.6.
Floyd can draw about 1.2 vs a noname, and Cotto can manage about 600k.
Taking into account some fan overlap on 1 side and some people that would only buy something of this magnitude and i figure 1.6 seems about right.
1.8 would not surprise me though, depends on the buildup and if they can actually convince the masses that Cotto has a shot.

They should hire the Sky team that convinced a entire nation that Audley had a shot vs Haye.

I'll go for about 1.5. Cotto still has a following but it's diminished since the first Margarito fight, and unlike if this fight had taken place in 2008, almost everyone who isn't a Cotto fanboy is expecting a Mayweather win. Still it's probably the biggest fight we'll get this year.

Negative-Cotto's fanbase amongst the casual fan has gone up..he has headlined or co headlined PPV's and fights against big name opponents.

He fought Mayorga who is huge, and did the 1st Yankee Stadium fight with Formane-

Cotto is a huge PPV star and much bigger than he was back in 2008..he isn't as good as he was when he was an undefeated fighter IMO (skill and coordination aren't what they once were but are still very very strong and one of the top in the sport) but he is definitely more known.:good

Did you expect the promotional company of that fight to promote it with negative public comments/predictions?, dumbass.
