I know it would be a major let down to not see Pacquiao-Mayweather....Apparently Malignaggi is a back-up plan for march 13th...

Say what you want to about the fight and it's outcome.....

That being said, with Malignaggi's presence, attitude, and flashy style on 24/7.....Couple that with Manny Pacquiao's tremendous following as the current P4P king.....and serious promotional cash machine put together by bob arum/Top Rank....

I wouldn't be suprised if it did 800,000-1 million buys...

    Your Thoughts?

Hype the fight hardcore in the New York media market....along with other major cities.....

and you have the twist of pacquiao fighting one of his accusers...I think it would do better at the box office then some think...

Malignaggi is still the same pillow fisted fighter that an easy to hit Hatton destroyed, how is he going to pose any threat to Pacquaio?

    500k PPV's at best.

Styles make fights my friend, he is not going to be charging at pacquiao like hatton and cotto did....I would pick pacquiao by late stoppage....but I wouldn't be suprise if the fight is similar to Chavez-Camacho....Camacho showed tremendous heart in that fight....and malignaggi is tough as nails....seriously, you almost have to KO malignaggi with a baseball bat...

i would say 500k if they really hyped it.

But paulie offers nothing. The casual fan will say is that the guy who got whopped by hatton.

This fight aint going 3 rounds.

It's a terrible fight to be made. Pacquiao will walk right through him.

I still think the Mayweather fight will happen though, there will be a compromise agreed very soon I think. The fight is simply too big and there's too much money to be made for it not to happen.
