I do not think it is getting the promotion to back up this huge fight. This will be probably one of the best in a while. How many PPV's do you think it does?

I'm thinking around 500K, maybe as many as 600.

    400k

Won't be surprised if it's higher though.

This fight will be an indicator to just how popular the sport is nowadays.

Anybody who doesn't watch this fight is either homeless or not a boxing fan.

Anyone who says this fight will do more than 300K need to state your case.

    Cotto vs. Judah did 225,000

    Cotto vs. Mosley did 340,000

These are domestic (US) figures. Both of those guys(outside of Cotto) were much more known to the common fan and had been on PPV prior than is Margarito right now.

The person who said 400K, thats outrageous.

Arum btw doesn't release his PPV numbers (I forget which one of his shows flopped and he was angry about it) so we'll only find out if it was favorable.

I'm only watching it because I want to see Cotto take out this overhyped dude once and for all. I don't think anyone that misses this is missing any type of important fight frankly. Hell, the only reason people are coming over to my house when I put the email out is for the girls, food and beer..

If Manny Pac, the P4P #1 only does 250 K...no way does Cotto-Margo top 350K.

Honestly though? If Arum was smart-er, he'd consider dropping the price tag for this bad boy by about 10 bucks. It'd do great numbers then.

The issue with that is that the economy is shaky, people are less willing to throw money away on a big fight...and lord knows how HBO plans to hype this thing up.
