How many PPVs will the Mayweather/Ortiz will have?

    It don't work like that! Inactivity actually creates disinterest. Contraversy and the classic good guy vs the classic bad guy is what creates interest thus you have the Mayweather Persona.

    To sell a mega the fight it takes main stream news media attention and a story to tell. The story to tell has been about the non-fight Pacquiao vs Mayweather which Mayweather is using to keep himself in the news. Expect him to continue using it to get the word out on his fight with Ortiz.

    What the hell are you blabbing about? No **** PPV is different than having it on regular HBO, who said it wasn't? Why don't you actually read our conversation before you butt in and look like a damn fool.

    After Mayweather got exposed as a coward, it will be less than 1M. Unless he can come up with a good excuse.

All you do is hate and do nothing else. That is why I said you shouldn't hate so much. You don't see me going on every Floyd thread or Pac thread hating like you. I respect both fighters and criticized both fighters.

    If every Pacquiao fan who called Mayweather a coward, actually bought PPVs, Manny would sell 10 million.

    Sadly for Manny, they're not boxing fans

    Floyd hasn't sold less than 1.1 million, since he fought De la Hoya, nearly 5 years ago.

    Nobody thought Marquez would sell very well. Doing 1.2 for that was amazing at the time.

    I just think Floyd has at least a million dedicated PPV fans, who will always buy his stuff.

    Plus, it's a great fight.

    Plus, Floyd hasn't boxed in a while.

    I'd say they will be dissapointed, if it doesn't do over 1.2 million
