    Don't know.

I like to bounce a little.

    Strict form is pointless.

That guy is not going right down.

I believe it is an across the pond difference. When I got online on boxing forums and keep reading 'press up' I didn't know what the hell...so I wouldn't respond.

Then about a month later, i was like...OH, a push up. :patsch

I can currently do around 55 to 60 in one go, after this summer I will be able to do more.

Pushups are alot easier to do when your lighter, but anywhere over 100 is extremely impressive at any weight. I'm about 195 and could do around 35 pushups now, 55 was my max when I was 160 back in 11th grade.

A lot of the guys who do around 100 probably do them very quickly without using strict form.

If you do 100, try doing them slowly and touch your chest to the floor, then lock out your arms after you rise.

I'm not saying they should be done this way, but most guys with huge numbers machine gun out a bunch of BS half push-ups. I've seen it a million times.

I haven't tried for ages, but I doubt I'd do more than 30.

Thats just an excuse, are you saying the lighter guys are as strong as the heavier guys?

there are plenty of 200lb guys who can do over 100's of push ups.

those who want it find a way, those who dont find an excuse.

Hmmm, no. If I lose 50lbs I won't suddenly be able to do 100 pushups. To be good at pushups you have to do pushups, weight doesn't come into it.
