Just because you like to bash them doesn't mean they weren't all WBC contenders or champs in their primes. I'm just answering the thread question. Joshua has faced prime contenders five or six times (lost once). Wilder has faced prime contenders about a dozen times, lost once (to the current world champ in his prime).
Even if you don’t agree they were all contenders in their prime, plus first Fury fight was a draw (Wilder should of won) but either way, that wasn’t the question, the questions was “HOW MANY PRIME FIGHTERS”.
Right. Those guys were all rated by the WBC and in their primes. Many had never lost or had one loss. And if we're trotting out guys like Povetkin and claiming you don't have to be in your "age prime" to be included, then the 28-0 Luis Ortiz (who was fighting his best) certainly fits the bill, too.
But Luis Ortiz has beaten Jennings and nobody else. Povetkin beat Whyte who has a better resume then Luis Ortiz himself and he did this after he lost to Aj, not 3 years afterwards
A few actually. Which is tough to do since fighters' prime usually doesn't have any hiccups. Otherwise it wouldn't be their prime. Not always true and more true the higher level they're on.
