Not coming all the way down doesn't make that much of a difference to me. I've seen a man do 25. I've never seen anyone do 30 or more.
The most I've ever seen was 15 and I was amazed. The same bloke could do 25+ chin-ups as well. Obviously those numbers are nothing compared to ESB standards though :roll:
i assume scurla could do quiet a few judging by his latspread but then again he probably just used the lat pull downs. pull ups are one of the most hardest exercises to progress in.
You can work up to that easily. I can do a lot of them too if I haven't been doing any weights that day. If I've done weights, I can only do about 12-15 in a row, because my arms are heavily worked.
